As Doppelgangers, Sophie and Alan created, developed and presented ROOM throughout 2012.

In ROOM the audience member(s) is blind folded, enters the performance space, and is met by a number of story-tellers, who begin the game by describing the virtual space that they are now in. The game takes place almost entirely in the imagination(s) of the ‘player(s)’, apart from a reveal at the end when the blind-fold is removed. The audience member(s) decides what happens, the story-tellers improvise around the actions of the player, occasionally coming back to a pre-determined plot if necessary.
